Description: A Fortune 100 Food Manufacturing Company
is searching for a Maintenance Manager for their facility
located in the northeast.
This candidate must provide leadership and direction
to Plant Maintenance Department. Responsible for planning,
execution and overall performance of the maintenance
organization and maintenance processes. Develops and
deploys maintenance and stores improvement programs
and projects that improve the plant and equipment performance.
This position promotes "SAFETY" and demands
it from the entire maintenance organization. Responsible
to develop and lead plant specific maintenance strategies
to achieve key performance goals. Development and advancement
of direct reports is a key deliverable of this position.

Requirements:
This position needs to have an in-depth knowledge of the plants CMMS (computerized maintenance management system), which is SAP maintenance. The position requires good communication skills and the ability to communicate to large groups on a regular basis. This position pursues continuous benchmarking against other facilities as well as other companies. This position is required to engage in various areas of labor relations. ***REQUIREMENTS***: A BS degree in Manufacturing or related technical area and/or 10 years recent experience in one or more of the following technical areas of: food manufacturing, packaging technologies, maintenance or project management is required. *Ability to work overtime, as necessary, is required. A broad understanding of maintenance management and manufacturing technologies. Previous experience and knowledge of a Computerized Maintenance Management System. A proficient working knowledge of typical desktop software packages...Word, Excel, E-Mail etc. Excellent leadership qualities, communication, and management skills are required. ***Desired Skills***: Previous food manufacturing experience. SAP experience |
